Role:
Mitigation Crew Leader 3, reporting directly to the Mitigation Manager. The operational backup to the Mitigation Manager. Acts as a mentor/leader to the Mitigation Crew Leader 1s and 2s.
Responsibilities:
Handle production labor as needed to satisfy company goals.
Assist the Mitigation Manager with scheduling and production planning.
Perform light demolition work and supervise heavy demolition on restoration-type projects.
Check and stock production vehicles with equipment, tools, and supplies needed to handle day-to-day work.
Daily communication with the Mitigation Manager regarding assigned projects.
Ensure the company vehicle, provided for official business use, is kept in a manner that projects the desired image to the general public.
Complete work order forms to outline tasks performed, as well as hours worked.
Fill out and update psychrometric and moisture content reports on water damage projects.
Ensure customers’ paperwork suite is filled out and signed.
Ensure content inventory sheets are filled out.
Duties:
Prepare and/or review mitigation and reconstruction estimates for accuracy and completion.
Assist in the negotiation of scope of work with insurance representatives.
Ensure subordinates follow the respiratory protection plan.
Ensure subordinates work in a safe manner.
Requirements:
Employee must be able to stand and sit for extended amounts of time.
Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Employee must be able to safely climb ladders.
Employee must be able to work in confined spaces.
Employee must be able to properly wear a full-face respirator while conducting laboring tasks.
Employee must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to perform routine work-related research.
Because of the nature of our work, we provide 24-hour emergency service. As such, the employee must be willing to be on call as needed, some night, weekend, and/or holiday hours may be required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reasonable driving record.
Must operate Apple or Android based phone and/or tablet systems.
Must understand basic photography and videography.
Must have a master-level understanding of structural drying.
Must have a master-level understanding of fire and smoke damage.
Must have a master-level understanding of contents cleaning and processing.
Must have a master-level understanding of mold remediation.
Must have a master-level understanding of blood and trauma cleaning.
Must have a journeyman-level understanding of Xactimate.
