Role:
Mitigation Crew Leader 1, reporting directly to the Mitigation Manager and/or Mitigation Crew Leader 3. Tasked with leading a small crew performing demolition and cleaning of structures associated with front-end services.
Responsibilities:
Daily communication with Mitigation Manager and/or Mitigation Crew Leader 3 regarding assigned projects.
Ensure the company vehicle, provided for official business use, is kept in a manner that projects the desired image to the general public.
Ensure subordinates follow the respiratory protection plan.
Ensure subordinates work in a safe manner.
Ensure projects are performed in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
Duties:
Perform demolition work and supervise demolition by subordinates on front-end type projects.
Check and stock production vehicles with equipment, tools, and supplies needed to handle scheduled work.
Handle front-end labor as needed to satisfy company goals.
Requirements:
Employee must be able to stand and sit for extended amounts of time.
Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Employee must be able to safely climb ladders.
Employee must be able to work in confined spaces.
Employee must update project management software to outline tasks performed, as well as hours worked.
Employee must be able to properly wear a full-face respirator while conducting laboring tasks.
Employee must be willing to be on call as needed. Some night, weekend, and/or holiday hours may be required.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to perform routine work-related research.
Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Must operate Apple or Android based phone and/or tablet systems.
Must understand basic photography and videography.
Must be able to operate company-owned extraction equipment.
Must have an apprentice-level understanding of structural drying.
Must have an apprentice-level understanding of fire and smoke damage.
Must have an apprentice-level understanding of mold remediation.
Must have an apprentice-level understanding of content cleaning and processing.
Because of the nature of our work, we provide 24-hour emergency service.
Employee must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):
Projects are completed without exceeding expected labor requirement.
No valid client complaints are filed.
Company-assigned vehicle is clean, stocked, and organized on every project.
Projects are completed without injury requiring medical attention.
Projects are completed consistent with company policies.
Equipment removed from projects is consistent with the equipment assigned to the project.
